The 6th edition of Tuwaiq Sculpture 2025 has officially opened, bringing together 30 distinguished artists from over 20 countries. Hosted at ROSHN Front in Riyadh, the exhibition presents a remarkable collection of sculptures that embody dedication and artistic expertise. Under the theme “From Then to Now: Joy in the Struggle of Making”, the exhibition highlights the creative journey – exploring both the challenges and triumphs of sculpting.
The displayed works represent a dynamic fusion of cultural heritage and contemporary artistic expression. Carefully selected from over 750 applicants, the participating artists have demonstrated exceptional craftsmanship, technical expertise, and a profound connection with their materials, creating captivating sculptural pieces.
Curated by Sebastian Betancur-Montoya, this exhibition marks a significant moment in Riyadh’s cultural landscape. Bentancur – Montoya emphasizes its importance:

At the conclusion of the exhibition, these sculptures will become permanent landmarks across Riyadh, joining the 35 sculptures from previous Tuwaiq Sculptures edition at the King Abdulaziz Historical Center. This initiative is a key part of the Riyadh Art Vision, which aims to transform the city into an open – air museum celebrating both contemporary and traditional art.
