Pucci, synonymous with sun-soaked sophistication and Mediterranean charm, has announced Portofino as the destination for its next runway show, scheduled for April 4, 2025. Nestled on the Italian Riviera, this picturesque fishing village will serve as the perfect backdrop for Pucci's vibrant designs, reinforcing its amorous yet laid-back seaside spirit.

Portofino: A Natural Stage for Pucci's Vision. Famed for its pastel-colored buildings, seafood eateries, and the iconic Piazzetta overlooking the harbor, Portofino has long been a magnet for European aristocrats and international jetsetters. It embodies the dolce vita lifestyle, making it an ideal setting for Pucci's latest collection.

In a statement shared exclusively with WWD, the brand highlighted the location's synergy with its identity, describing it as "bright, breezy, and exuding Mediterranean dolce vita". This marks yet another step in artistic director Camille Miceli's journey of reviving Pucci's storied legacy.

Marmo Takes Center Stage. Among the stars of the upcoming runway show will be Marmo, Pucci's signature marble-like print. Reimagined by Miceli when she took the helm in 2021, Marmo has become a symbol of the brand's evolution. Expect this emblematic motif to shine in bold hues and flowing fabrics, perfectly capturing the essence of springtime on the Italian coast.

Miceli's approach to Pucci's collection has been both reverential and innovative. By blending the house's iconic patterns with contemporary silhouettes, she has transformed the label into a must-have for those seeking luxury with a relaxed edge.

A Destination for Iconic Runway Shows. Portofino's selection underscores Italy's growing prominence as the go - to destination for luxury fashion showcases. Canel is set to host its Cruise 2026 show at Lake Como on April 29, Gucci will grace Florence on May 15, and Dior plans to unveil its collection in Rome on May 27. Meanwhile, Max Mara will present a two-day resort experience in Naples this June.

A New Era for Pucci. Under the ownership of luxury powerhouse LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton since 2000, Pucci has cemented its place as a leading resort-focused brand. Its collections are unveiled on a see-now, buy-now basis, appealing to a contemporary clientele eager for instant access to luxury. Each show is a celebration of lifestyle, offering not just fashion but an immersive experience in the world of Pucci.

What to Expect from the Portofino Show? While details remain secret, the April 4 event promises to be a vibrant spectacle of color, elegance, and Mediterranean charm. From flowing kaftans adorned with Marmo prints to contemporary silhouettes inspired by Portofino's relaxed glamour, the collection will redefine resort wear for the modern luxury consumer.

As Pucci prepares to bask in the springtime sun, its Portofino show will undoubtedly capture the imagination of the fashion world, blending timeless heritage with fresh innovation.
